Reading Month Assembly

PUBLIC NOTICE:  Dear Parents and Community Members,
We are pleased to present you with the Annual Education Report (AER) which provides key information on the 2010-2011 educational progress for Ben Ross Public School Academy. The AER addresses the complex reporting information required by federal and state laws. The school’s report contains information about student assessment, Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and teacher quality. If you have any questions about the AER, please contact Chief Educational Officer Monica C. Martin for assistance.
We are looking for a few good parents. Are you interested in volunteering? Would you be willing to help run the school store?  Do you enjoy fund-raising?  Then we need you!  If you are interested in joining the Ben Ross PTO, we would be more than happy to have you.  Our first meeting will be November 22, 2011 at 4:00 PM in the cafeteria.  Please contact Ms. Franklin at 586.575.9418 ext. 212, for details and meeting and date times.

At our academy, we strive to provide authentic learning opportunities for students through special events and services. We work closely with Initiative Science, a Michigan based company out of Ann Arbor, to provide S.T.E.M activities for students from onsite science events, cloud-based learning in English and Math, and field trips.  We believe that this partnership will allow us to provide unique ways to bring science and math to life for our students, opening their eyes to the wonders of the world and sharpening their skills in the process.  For more information on Initiative Science, please click here.
